Guinea-Bissau: IMVF is recruiting healthcare professionals to join the Integrated Program for the Reduction of Maternal and Child Mortality in Guinea-Bissau PIMI II

Location: Guinea-Bissau
Duration: 4 years *

The project: In line with the efforts undertaken by the first project, PIMI II’s overall objective is to contribute to the maternal, neonatal and child-youth mortality reduction in Guinea-Bissau and, particularly, to achieve the targets recently set in the Sustainable Development Agenda (SDG3 and SDG5). PIMI II’s specific objective is to ensure and perpetuate a better access to quality health care to pregnant and puerperal women (up to 45 days after birth) and children up to 5 years in Guinea-Bissau. PIMI is funded by the European Commission.

The selected candidates will be responsible for the regular monitoring of the Health Centers and Hospitals, ensuring the proper implementation of the medical components included in the Minimum and Complementary Health Care Packages. They will be also responsible for providing specialized assistance, conducting various training activities and coordinating the on-the-job supervision.**Knowledge of Portuguese** is an essential requirement.
